1945 - IFNMU was founded as
Stanislav Medical Institute
1992 - became Academy
2008 - got title of National Medical
University and recognised as one
of the best in Universities in
Ukraine
4. About IFNMU
Ivano-Frankivsk National Medical University is one of the
most progressive and famous medical universities in
Ukraine. It has great experience in welcoming foreigner
students since 1992. New technologies and most
importantly educated and professional administration of 73
Doctors of Science and other qualified professors, created
atmosphere of great knowledge and experience and they

9. How to Apply
1. Application addressed to the Rector of the University (written
autographically);
2. Application of the established form (filled in Ukrainian, Russian
or English language);
3. Invitation for study from the Ministry of Education and Science,
Youth and Sport of Ukraine, issued by IFNMU;
4. Document about the previous education and the appendix,
containing the information on the academic performance (original
and notarized copy of every document);
5. Valid foreign passport with entrance visa for study in Ukraine
(original and copy of passport information page, copy of page with
Ukrainian visa);
6. Birth certificate (original and notarized copy);
10. 7. Medical certificate about the state of health,
authenticated by the official health care authority of the
country the foreigner came from and issued not earlier
than 2 months before leaving for study in Ukraine;
8. Document of the absence of HIV infection, issued not
earlier than 2 months before leaving for study in Ukraine;
9. Medical insurance;
10. 10 photos in size 45-35mm;
11. Digital photo on CD;
12. Open dated return ticket with one year term.
