As you know, lllinois has over 2.6 million Medicare beneficiaries.
State insurance departments, by and large, find it impossible to
counsel every Medicare beneficiary who has insurance problems on
a one-to-one basis. This is why you are so important to the SHIP
program. You have volunteered the time - and now you have the
knowledge - to help people in your own community with their
