The brief of this project was to generate
a name for YTL Corporation’s heavily
Asian-themed residential development on
Sentosa Cove, Singapore and to develop
a brand to cater to its target audience;
expats and people who demand a more
luxurious, sophisticated lifestyle.
“Kasara”, meaning “The Lake” in Sanskrit,
was quickly agreed upon as the name
for the residential development which
featured villas that had berths for
backyards. Elements of nature, Asian
culture, serenity and surrealism were
developed into a theme that later became
essential to the success of the project.
All villas (costing approximately
SGD 20,000,000 each) were sold out
within 3 months from the date of launch.

situated in U-Thant, an expatriate enclave
in Kuala Lumpur.
The concept of the main brochure revolves
around a woman living at Nobleton Crest
narrating her story and the features of the

I was tasked to rebrand Aqua Voyage, a
private yacht charter owned by KOP Group.
The brief was to create a brand targeted
at the rich and sophisticated community,
and the first task was to create a logo that
spelled class.
The end result was a handsome monogram
comprising the letters A and V.

a direct mailer for their A. Lange & Söhne
timepieces that would do justice to the
intricate precision behind the hand-made
watches, and at the same time tell the
tale of how the German watch-making
company came to be.
I proposed a seemingly contemporary
booklet which quite literally gives you an
insight on how all the pieces were
put together.

SWATCH KIT
RJ Paper (Singapore) needed a new paper
sample swatch kit to distribute to design
houses and printers across the region, and
commissioned 14 talents to illustrate each
of their swatch covers. Each illustrator
depicted their own idea of a “Hero”. I
designed the kit that housed these paper
samples, and matched the illustrations
according to the type of paper contained
in the swatches. The swatches were
organised systematically, and were stored
in a tin box to give it a retro feel.
