Raised in the Zimbabwean bush, with a professional guide as a father, I got my learner
hunter & guides license at the age of 16. After serving in the British Army I came back
to Vic Falls, where I started filming wildlife, Victoria Falls and the Zambezi river,
contributing to a plethora of Natural History documentaries, movies, magazines &
various publications on Victoria Falls, the Zambezi & Zimbabwe.

Over the years I’ve done quite a bit of work for Japans NHK through Japan Africa as a
cameraman, fixer & time-lapse specialist. Most notably was a movie co-funded by NHK
loosely translated to ‘Night of the Elephants.’
