X-Tech Case: Fishent
Fishent is a spinout company born from Hardtech
Entrepreneurship programme 2017, through a
successful collaboration with Fire Eater A/S.
Fire Eater holds a patent application of a sensor
technology for fire detection applications. During the
programme, the students’ team developed a
business and a prototype for a product to
automatically assess the quality of fresh fish for the
fishing industry (providers, processors, and retailers)
by using the same sensor technology. Currently, they
are working on developing their Minimum Viable
Product to be sold to their first pilot customer, who
will provide them with valuable data to improve their
system

X-TECH CASE
TresActio originated from X-Tech in 2018 from a case project submitted by Siemens.
TresActio collects and analyses data on biological strains, which helps companies
augment their understanding of the strains and control the environments necessary for
the bacteria to thrive. Our industry-disrupting product will enhance analysis of these
strains to optimize the environments for future strains being screened.
The team are currently part of the Danish Tech challenge an are developing their
solution for companies like Novozymes and Christian Hansen.
In Numbers
The program has run successfully for 9 years.
More than 300 cases have been through.
And we have more than 200 talented tech
master students a year.
We do currently have 40 cases/year
And 6 spin-outs/year
