Thomas Hedstrom discusses spirituality, language, gender views and relationship to nature
1. Thomas Hedstrom 21/09/10 Religion and Spirituality: I was raised Christian but have gone atheist because of my own beliefs. I do not believe there is a greater force in the universe but keep my options open. Language: speaking English is important to me since it is the worlds most used language. I do try to learn other languages to try different things and learn about other cultures. Gender: I believe that all people are made equal. I do think that all men should be gentlemen and that all women deserve more respect the men. Ideology: many of my beliefs and values revolve around who I'm with and what I do. These define who I am and in a way protect me like a roof. Relationship to land: I enjoy being outdoors and in the wilderness because growing up I would be outside lots. Media: I watch an hour of news everyday and read the news paper. This allows me to keep up in world events. Culture: my views are multicultural as my background has many different ethnicities. That and everyone else has different cultures and I have grown to appreciate them. Environment: I have always had a strong feeling for recycling and compost sites. This helps keep the environment clean and more beautiful.
