Sensex closed red 0.60%@19981.57pts; Nifty dropped 0.56%@6,048.50pts.
European market majors CAC, & FTSE & DAX were red from 0.20% - 0.88%.
Asian market majors Hang Seng was up 029%; Nikkei 225 was down 0.35%.
Sensex dropped 120.25pts@19981.57; Nifty fell 33.80pts@6,048.50. Key equity
benchmark slipped into red as traders booked profits after strong yesterdayβs earnings
from blue-chip companies including Infosys and RIL. HUL dropped more than 6% & as
Cairn India fell more than 2% as slower ramp-up in production from its Rajasthan block.
