6. What is Rhabdomylosis?
Rhabdo is the breaking down of muscle
fibres resulting in the release of muscle
fibres into the bloodstream.
Symptoms of rhabdo include:
• severe generalized muscle pain
• nausea and vomiting,
• abdominal cramping
• dark red “Coca-Cola” urine.
People most at risk are new CrossFitters and people returning to
CrossFit after a long break.

Women cannot get big and bulky like men, Estrogen will not let you do it. You may think by lifting weights you will look like this *insert steroid infused “female” here* but you won’t. That women in the picture is a bodybuilder, that takes steroids and trains to be big. Weightlifting and CrossFit will not make you bulky, we train to be strong, fit and functional.
