• Develops and implements the Facility’s specific analytical methods and procedures.
• Doing Wet chemical analysis of Cu, Fe, Sio2, Sulphur, Alumina, magnesia, CaO, Etc…
• Doing the Analysis of raw material like limestone, sodiumsulphide, lye, and quartz chips, Etc….
• Preparation of standard solutions for instruments as well as wet analysis.
• Ensure calibration of instruments and maintenance of ISO records.
• Comply with environment, safety and hygiene regulations.
• Analysis of new samples from various companies and also our plant.
• Water chemistry (Doing all parameter in water samples).
• WSMD – weighment sampling moisture determination in concentrates.
• Sample preparation and preservation as per the standard SOPs/Methods.
Water Chemistry
1)Doing the parameters like PH,TH,TS,TDS,TSS,Cl,F,Fe,O-PO4,Oil and Greases,Hydrazine,SiO2,Nitrite
,Nitrate, Dissolved Oxygen,Alkyinity,Acidity,Viscosity,Specific gravity Etc…..(By Wet chemical method)
2) All the major and minor impurities Like As, Bi, Ni, Pb Etc…By using ICP (Inductively coupled plasma).
3) Measuring ions by using Auto titrator like Cl, F Etc...
4) Awareness about Dm plant Quality control and operation maintenance.
5) Having good Technical knowledge in water Chemistry..
6) Measuring turbidity by Nephelion turbidity meter.
7) Doing the analysis of Environmental oriented parameters.
ISO AND NABL MEASUREMENT.
 ISO 17025 activity Related to NABL accreditation in laboratory.
Concentrates in bulk:
1) ISO: 12743:1998 copper lead and zinc sulphide concentrates ---Sampling procedure for
determination of metal and moisture content.
2) ISO: 10251:1995 copper, lead and zinc sulphide concentrates---Determination of mass loss of bulk
material on drying.
3) Focusing more on TPM, TQM, 5S methodology.
