Russian titles. In contrast to the
top Russian movies, all of these
top 5 Hollywood movies were
either sci-fi or fantasy films and
all were already released in 2016.
The fantasy movie “Assassin’s

50% of the peer-to-peer users who shared files of at least one of the top 5 games also
shared all five titles. This underscores game content as vitally important among the
entertainment preferences in Russia.
The sandbox game Minecraft was
downloaded and shared by more than
11 million file sharers since July 2011.
For Russian file sharers in the given
time frame, Minecraft earned spot 6
in the top game charts.
