1. Focus Groups
A focus group is a group of people how are willing to take part in a discussion on a
specific subject e.g. a favorite band/football club/a film company etc. this is where
information will be collected to help organizations gain feedback so that they can
help there company improve and statistics or if it was a council meeting it could be to
help the company make the area better than it is now.
Advantages
they are a good source to get your point across they are also good for collecting
information on a small scale , you focusing on the same topic so you have something
in common with everyone else, you have the opportunity to have your say in the
discussion.
Disadvantages
You may not be able to get your point across; reasons may be because you might
have forgotten something you were going to say, or the discussion has been led by
two people and you may feel like you won’t able to get you point across or you may
feel that you have to say something that pleases everyone instead of your honest
opinion.
