Hello everyone, my name is Javier and I’m thankfully in my last semester at USF. I was born in New York and my family moved down to Florida when I was eleven. It has been an odd and difficult ride to get here but all that matters is that the end is finally here. My area of concentration is criminal justice and my goal is to be a public information officer, in order to hopefully provide more transparency and bridge the gap, that I feel is missing. I feel as the keys to life is communication and relationships. Being able to build that trust and relationship can help to develop a better today and tomorrow. I would say one of my greatest success would be making it to this point. I’ve never been passionate about school but a few years ago decided to push myself and go for it. I have younger family members who are like me and don’t like school, so I figured I could lead better by example rather than telling. Which to this point has worked as most of them are looking and applying to college or trade school. The best advice I’ve received is you are who you are because of the decisions you’ve made. You are who you are in the future by the decisions you make today. I look forward to a great final semester. ...
