1. Will You Join Our Carpenter Club?
Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity
Needs “Carpenters in Spirit”
From his humble beginnings as a carpenter the Lord Jesus gracefully taught us to live a life not
only testifying to his glory, but caring for our fellow neighbors. In Philippians 2:4 we are told
“Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of
others.”
At Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity we are a part of an inter-denominational Christian ministry
whose purpose is to build homes in partnership with God, community and qualified low-income
families in the Verde Valley. By being “Carpenters in Spirit” we help raise the value and the
safety of our neighborhoods by looking to the interest of those who need affordable housing.
We most certainly serve as literal carpenters when we work with partner families and volunteers
to create these homes.
We need your support to look to the interests of others and invite you to join our
Carpenter’s Club. The Carpenters Club is an opportunity for you to pay a small amount each
month that offers sustaining revenue for the homes we build and the mission of our ministry. In
much the same way as you tithe weekly at church, this becomes a regular tithe to the outreach
Verde Valley Habitat for Humanity does to improve our neighborhoods and support our
neighbors.
Become a “Carpenter in Spirit.” Please go online to vvhabitat.org/donate-
support/carpenters-club to set up your monthly giving or fill out the enclosed card with
credit card information or mail a check and identify your gift as one you intend to give
“monthly.” With Debit or Credit card information, we will handle the monthly gift for you.
By becoming a member of the Carpenter’s Club, you become an elite member of the Verde
Valley Habitat for Humanity family. We will honor you by having your name appear on our
website and in our quarterly newsletters. You will also receive special monthly email updates for
Carpenter’s Club members only.
Thank you for serving your neighbors, our community, and for being an active member of our
mission.
From one carpenter to another,
Tania Simms, Executive Director
