3. Read-A-Thon
O Islands Elementary’s PTA put on a read-a-
thon to encourage the students to read
more. The volunteers put together the
event and carried it out by counting the
books the children read. The volunteers
help the school throughout the year to
encourage the children’s learning.
Additional funds would allow for the
school to be able to have more learning
activities.
