• Mobilization of HHs into SHGs progressing fairly well
• Quality of bookkeeping varies across the States
• Improve Fund Management in SHGs, VOs and CLFs
• Pace of promotion of primary level and secondary level federations remains an
area of concern
• Less than 50% of SHGs in CG, GUJ, RAJ, UP, HAR, HP, UK, MEG, TRIP federated into level 1o
level federations
• Lack of CB calendar in State Missions leading to a wide gap between promotion
of institutions and their capacity building, thereby leading to low CB expenditure
SM/ IB & CB- Way Forward
• Sign pending agreements with NROs/CBAs to accelerate mobilization of
Households
• Develop CRPs, Senior CRPs, PRPs and other Community Trainers/Facilitators
through apprenticeship
• Roll-out IB/CB plan for the year using State Resource Pool in developing district
and block resource pool
• Facilitate use of SI & SD protocols by SRLMs for mobilizing vulnerable and SECC
identified deprived families in a time-bound manner.
• Resources for VOs/CLFs may be accessed through convergence
SM/ IB & CB- Way Forward
• Facilitate Rate of interest at member level to be at par with bank rates
• Reduce delays in preparation of MCPs and VRPs due to shortage of MCP trainers
• Finalize basic mobilization and capacity building frame-work for non-intensive
blocks, including leveraging DRDA/other support systems like NGO partnership
• Facilitate registration of all secondary level federations through dedicated task
force approach and clarifying suitable legal structure
SM/ IB & CB- Way Forward
• Initiate Roll-out Gender and Social Action Protocols in Intensive Blocks where at
least VOs have formed, immediately
• Build dedicated trained community cadre for promotion of FNHW and promote
convergence with ICDS, Nutrition Mission, SBM, etc.
• Initiate Pilot projects on Solid Liquid Waste Management (SLWM)

• Only the States of BIH ,CG, JHA, J&K, MP, RAJ, PUN, MEG and UK have provided CIF to more
than a third of the eligible SHGs
• The States of ARNP, MAN, NAG, SIK , GOA and UT of PUDD yet to initiate CIF disbursement
• Demand for CIF must be generated by capacitating CBOs and augmenting the
livelihoods basket for the poor
• Disbursal of VRF remains slow as many states have not adapted VRF protocols
% of eligible SHGs provided CIF
• AP, TS, KER not indicated
• Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur and Goa yet to institute fund disbursement mechanisms
