2. Meta Runner is a Australian computer animated cyberpunk drama web series created by
YouTuber brothers Luke and Kevin Lerdwichagul. The series follows an amnesiac cyborg girl
named Tari in a world where society revolves around video games, speedrunning & esports
as she discovers she has the uncanny ability to warp into video games. Her, Theo and MD5
must work together to take down TAS Corp. The series has being going since 2019 with 2
seasons so far and a third season might release this year.
What is Meta Runner?

3. Tari is the main protagonist of Meta Runner. She is one of many professional Meta Runners, but unlike other Meta
Runners, she has an ability that allows her to transfer her mind into any video game she plays. Tari herself is Dr.
Sheridan's A.I. program from Project Blue that merged with a fragment of Lucinia Porter's mind during an
accident as she was being backed up, with her name actually being T.A.R.I. (Turbo Artificial Rapid Intelligence).
She is a kind, insecure and shy girl, who likes video games and rubber ducks. She is shown to be a pacifist, but is
very skilled with weapons such as firearms (most likely due to her prosthetic arm) and she appears to be very
danger prone, as she often finds herself getting hurt or in danger.

37. This stage is Silica City, the city where Tari and the others live. There are two version of the
stage, the outside and the inside of the city. If you were in the stage select menu, you just need
to put a code then select the stage. In inside the city, you will see people walking by in the
background. You will also see camos in the background of both version of the stage. Alright,
let’s go meet them.

38. Masa Shimamoto, former captain of TASCrop and leader of MD5, a group that rebels against
TASCrop. He is a very serious and sensible guy.
Belle Fontiere, a TASCrop meta runner, she thinks that Tari was responsible for the death of
her close friend Lucinia Porter, she joins MD5 after discovering that Lucks have lied to her
about Lucinia. She is shown to be both laid-back yet immensely competitive.

39. Sofia Porter, member of MD5. She is shown to be a computer geek, she shows high interest in mods
and hacks and has far more knowledge about technology than any other.
Lucinia Porter, Sofia’s older sister and TASCrop’s meta runner. she was caught in an accident during
Project Blue and was recovered by Lucks but she still in a coma. The accident caused her mind to
fragment, with parts of it being lost in the TASCorp server and the other part going into Tari, who is
revealed to be the A.I. program that fused with parts of Lucinia's mind to create her current self.

40. Lamar Williams, member of MD5. He is a otaku. A running gag is that he has a new body
pillow in almost every episode he's featured in, each based on a character from Nova
Explorers. This makes him seem like somewhat of a comedy relief, but he is intelligent and
hates risks.
Theo, the main playable character of the in-universe game Ultra Jump Mania and Tari's first
friend/ally. He is quite childish, happy-go-lucky, fun-loving, and occasionally stubborn.

41. Derek Lucks, CEO of TASCrop. He appeared to be a man very much in control of his emotions. No matter the
situation, he always spoke with an even keel whether it's giving orders or threatening a subordinate. Just beneath
that, however, he possessed some strong anger issues and had no problem with making others suffer for his
goals.
Evelyn Claythorne, TASCrop’s meta runner. She is shown to be arrogant, snobby, conceited, and self-centered. She
is also attention-seeking and envious based on how she laments on how Lucks favorites Tari over her and even
refers to Tari as a 'science experiment' and a "freak“.

42. Dr. Sheridan, former scientist for TAS Corp. He was working on Project Blue, a mysterious
project in which he developed a unique A.I. to assist Meta Runners in gameplay, to avoid
being fired by Lucks. but an accident ended the project prematurely that seriously injured
him and then he disappear from TASCrop since.
TASCorp Workers are people who work for TAScorp.
And finally Marco, a close friend of Sofia Porter and a big rival of Masa Shimamoto.
