Today, US Personal Income and Expenditure results is due for release in the US and is
expected to stay at largely unchanged. Personal Consumption and Expenditure is one of
the biggest contributors to the country’s GDP, and therefore a very important indication
to the direction the US bourse will pursue.
The chart of the Dow, which is an aggregate of the 30 largest companies in the US, had a
very bullish candlestick yesterday by closing on its high. We expect a further upside but
will not be buying at these levels as the risk reward ratio does not favour such action, ie
too much risk for the relatively small reward.
