Generate and review your degree audit for declared major(s)/minor(s) (DARS) regularly to ensure
that all requirements are met and/or you have plans to complete them. Questions or concerns

change your anticipated graduation term one time by sending an email through Umail to
graduation@utah.edu. Subsequent changes require reapplication and a processing fee.
Undergraduate and Graduate Candidates:
Your degree will be awarded once the Registrar's Office certifies completion of all requirements.
This may take 4-8 weeks beyond the conferral date. Diplomas include your name (as it appears
below), degree, and major. Send an email from Umail to graduation@utah.edu with instructions
for special characters, capitalization, or accent marks. Diplomas will be mailed to the current
mailing address (as it appears below) - usually within one week of the degree being awarded. If
you do not want your name to appear in the convocation program, uncheck the Name in
Commencement Program check box below by March 1. If you are denied graduation, you will need
to reapply for a future semester.
