Responsible for all project delivery requirements within the Canadian Region and for the Mining and
Manufacturing portfolio across North America. Working with regional staffing directors and technology managers,
integrate the project managers and delivery coordinators to efficiently deliver to various industrial clients.
Managed a team of 14 project delivery coordinators, overseeing 100 project managers across North America.

Lead the promotion, awareness, and management of projects with significant risk.
Worked with senior corporate risk managers and legal departments to develop workable strategies to take on
this work.
Worked with Market Leads to identify early on the opportunities that contained risk, and worked with them
to assign the correct staff and negotiate the correct contract terms to satisfy corporate policy.
Shepherded approvals internally with senior management (President level and up) and necessary waivers in
order to proceed with work.

Implemented processes and procedures required to deliver CAD$22M of environmental remediation projects
over two years at an operating chemical production facility. Processes developed and implemented:

The largest brownfield site currently under development in Ontario:
Will serve as the Pan American Athletes’ Village (PAAV) for the 2015 Pan/Parapan American Games.
Former industrial site that will encompass mixed-use residential and commercial development, as well as a
substantial parkland component, after the games.
As Program Manager, I needed to adapt to an accelerated schedule that was deemed unfeasible by all other
consultants involved.
Ramped up the team of 40 staff to over 300 staff in 19 offices in 6 time zones over a two month period.
Engaged unique review techniques for deliverables – live meetings with the peer reviewers and regulator – to
accelerate acceptance.
Monitored each technical area using project control tools (updated weekly) to maintain contracted scope,
schedule, and budget, and reported to client weekly.
Delivered all deliverables on time with a coordinated effort. Avoided IO having to pay $1M/day penalty to
developer.
Project won the 2011 Brownie (Brownfield) Award as the project that best demonstrated Excellence in Project
Development at the Neighbourhood Scale.
As Strategic Advisor, I worked with the CH2M HILL project team, Infrastructure Ontario, and related stakeholders
(City of Toronto, Ontario Ministry of the Environment, other government agencies, private developers, and the
public) to facilitate remediation and approvals strategies after securing environmental permits.

Focused on managing and integrating several projects during the decommissioning and property transfer of a
large industrial chemical facility. Work involved supporting the client's objectives in real-time during property

transfer negotiations, and utilizing cutting-edge remedial technology, including fracture and injection and
consolidated biodegradation.
An objective-based approach was employed to deal with dynamic field conditions, knowledge gaps, and goals.
Key responsibilities included:
Served as regulatory officer liaison, and coached other key staff to communicate with the regulators.
Led a culture of health, safety, and quality so that team staff were committed to these ideals.
Developed and integrated program-specific operating procedures.
