of various materials (from aluminum to difficult-to-
machine stainless steels) on our state-of-the-art lathes
and mills. Our lathe department works with 0-1, D-2,
M-2 and a variety of CPM grades. We can complete a
project utilizing material in its soft state, then hard turn
the dimensions after heat treat. Our proven hard turn
capabilities offer a cost savings over conventional, time-
consuming OD grinding methods. Hard turning can also
result in better surface finishes. When necessary, we can
maintain tolerances of +/- .0002”.
