The Cri Du Chat Support Group of Australia thanks the Cargo Club of Australia for fundraising at their Annual Charity Golf Day, which raised 20% more than the previous year. The funds will be used to make the group's 2017 Family Weekend and National Conference accessible to all families and acknowledge the sponsors. A video of the conference will be shared with the Cargo Club to showcase the value of their support.

Apologies for my tardy response in getting this letter to you.
On behalf of the Cri Du Chat Support Group of Australia Inc. I am writing to thank you and
all the members of the Cargo Club of Australia for fundraising in support of our Association
for the second year at the Annual Charity Golf day. Achieving a 20% increase in monies
raised from last year was amazing. Our association greatly appreciates the work of all
involved; the major and platinum sponsor AGS World Transport and the numerous other
bronze and golf hole sponsors as well of cause of the involvement of all who came to play
on the day.
Since the golf day, our members have been busy organising our 2017 Family Weekend and
National Conference which will be held at Campaspe Downs Camp, Kyneton in September.
The funds raised from the Annual Charity Golf Day will be used to ensure that this is
accessible to all our families and the Cargo Club of Australia and the golf day sponsors will
be fully acknowledged as supporting the event in our conference booklet. We plan to make
a video of the conference and the value of the support afforded by our members coming
together. We look forward to sharing this clip with you next year. In association with the
Murdoch Institute, we have also developed a Cri Du Chat Syndrome Education Kit which we
will send to all major hospitals around Australia so to better educate medical and allied
health professionals. Your fundraising efforts on our behalf enable these initiatives to take
place without our members worrying about how to make them work financially.
Our Association looks forward to working fruitfully with you and the Cargo Club of Australia
in the future to support families and children with Cri Du Chat syndrome.
