Editor's Notes
AttributeState from ZeroWait-State automatically sets or clears values for you in Agile. This ensures accuracy, consistency, and speed – avoiding dirty data and keeping employees productively focusing on adding the right information at the right time.
Here you see a title-block value being set with the concatenation of two values from the same tab.
Configuration of AttributeState is designed to be as easy as possible, using something you already know – a spreadsheet checked in to Agile.
A single spreadsheet configures many attribute definitions.
Here you see how easy it is to set up the attribute mapping seen in the previous slide.
You are not limited to pulling data from the Title Block. You can pull information from any row of any table on the object.
Here a the a cell from a separate tabl is appended to the Description. You can specify criteria for selecting the row to be used, or concatenate a column from many rows.
You can also pull information from different objects.
Here you see a value being pulled from a parent assembly and appended to a Description.
Similarly, you can set values on an object other than the one triggering the event.
You can set table cell values as well.
A single row, selected rows (according to your custom criteria), or all rows can be set.
When the job requires a great degree of flexibility, AttributeState can handle it.
Use the powerful template engine to perform sophisticated transformations on the data.
Use the Agile API to manipulate and pull specific information from the objects.
Use the macro library supplied by ZWS to simplify common tasks.
Use lookup-tables and lists contained in the spreadsheet to simplify data entry.
You first configure AttributeState with your attribute definitions.
Then AttributeState is triggered when needed to save time for the Agile users.
