1. To Whom It May Concern:
If you are reading this, you have probably met Stephanie Soria. Unassuming, hip, and
deceptively focused, she presents an alternative to corporate status quo. How does she
believe the act of giving time, sharing knowledge, pooling efforts will translate to business
success? Hang on, isn’t that the way it should be?
People helping people, nurturing community, sounds like the stuff that built this country.
Have you been to a barn raising lately? Probably not... Thinking about it, this may be
exactly what we need. Stephanie is on to something. This model of positivity can only pave
the way for others.
Four or five peers accompanied my personal journey, and we have done well. I can only
imagine where we would be, had it been forty or fifty. Given the opportunity to participate
in a concept like GOLdiN, I would simply have to do it. The reward of mentoring creative
individuals and being mentored in other professions is enthralling.
The idea makes me smile.
