Opening Reception and Symposium
Exhibit open to the public:
An originator of the Western Pop Art movement, Billy Schenck
incorporates techniques from photorealism with a pop art
sensibility. By taking the philosophies and techniques of both
modern life and the traditional Native American heritage,
Stan Natchez achieves a complex harmony in his work with
a distinctive Neo-Pop style. Both artists will showcase their
colorful pieces in the upcoming spring show.
On Tuesday, March 8, the artists will participate in a symposium
at 3:30 pm followed by the Exhibit Opening Reception from
4:30–6:30 pm.
