liniLED® Introduction
The liniLED® System is a concept which consists of high quality,
flexible LED strips (IP20, IP40, IP68), stainless steel walkover and
drive over lighting fixtures (IP68), LED based handrail (stainless
steel, IP40/IP65) and various accessories. In other words: one stop
shopping for all your projects!
Due to the high quality, innovative technology and smart design,
the liniLED® System is ideal for high end projects in various
sectors, such as: maritime, architecture, infrastructure,
construction, health and the entertainment industry.
Triolight B.V. is known worldwide as the manufacturer of the high
quality, European liniLED® System. With more than 17 years

liniLED® System
*Available in four luminous intensities: Deco, Power, High Power and Photon 1200.
Colours: Flame White 2000K, Ultra Warm White 2400K, Extra Warm White 2700K,
Warm White 3000K, Natural White 4000K, Cold White 6500K, RGB (except Handrail
and Forta), Red, Green, Blue and Amber.
liniLED® LED strips
liniLED® Aeris
liniLED® Forta/ Spots
The liniLED® LED strip is a high quality, flexible LED strip. The
combination of high quality and exceptional flexibility, allows for an
endless range of applications. The liniLED® LED strips are available in
IP20 up to IP68. With the exception of the PCB LED strips, the liniLED®
LED strips contain a unique co-extrusion technology.*
The liniLED® Aeris range consists of several durable, aluminium
(anodised) profiles, which are fit for almost every indoor and
outdoor LED lighting project. Available as profiles or as ‘plug & play’
lighting fixture (IP67).
The liniLED® Lights contains two different IP68 lighting fixtures:
liniLED® Forta and liniLED® Spots. As the liniLED® LED strips are fully
integrated in each product, an optimal light effect can be
guaranteed.*
liniLED® Handrail
The liniLED® Handrail (IP40/IP65) is a revolutionary handrail system
which has the same light benefits as a LED fixture: energy efficient
with an expected lifetime of more than 50,000 hours. The liniLED®
Handrail is available in several shapes: rectangular, square and round
(incl. fully integrated liniLED® Top LED strips).
liniLED® Accessories
The liniLED® System can be completed with several accessories, such
as: mounting profiles, aluminium profiles for diffused light, stair
profiles, connection materials, dimmer switches, (RGB) controllers
and power supplies. The accessories are divided in three product
groups: liniLED® Mounting, Control and Power.
liniLED® Vesti
The liniLED® Vesti (IP40) is a dimmable stainless steel LED based
closet rod, designed to provide functional lighting. Equipped with a
diffuse cover and a high quality liniLED® luminaire, the liniLED® Vesti
emits a beautiful homogenous light effect. Available in a square and
round shape in colour temperatures from 2400K up to 6500K.

liniLED® PCB
The liniLED® PCB LED strip (IP20) is a
flexible LED strip equipped with 3M
double sided tape without the unique
co-extrusion technology. The liniLED®
PCB LED strip is ideal to use in small
indoor spaces. Available in various
lengths on spools up to 50 metres.

liniLED® Mounting
The liniLED® System can be installed on
flat and/or curved surfaces. In this
chapter you will find more information
about the several mounting options,
including an overview of
all available profiles.
The liniLED® LED strips can be mounted
in various ways. The liniLED® U-Profile
and the liniLED® Alu U-Profile are ideal
for linear installation. In case of a
curved surface, the liniLED® Saddle
(incl. tie wrap) offers the perfect
mounting solution.
Besides the mounting products, the
liniLED® assortment offers an extensive
range of aluminium profiles, such as:
liniLED® Line Profiles (20 mm and 40
mm), Stair Profiles (direct and indirect)
and Wall-/ floor Profiles (direct).
All profiles are available in standard
lengths of 1, 2, 3 and 4 metres. Other
lengths up to 6 metres are available on
request.

The liniLED® Aeris range on pages 42-51 consists of several durable
aluminium (anodised) profiles, which are fit for almost every indoor
and outdoor LED lighting project. In this chapter we will show you
that it´s possible to compose an IP67 ‘plug & play’liniLED® Aeris
lighting fixture.
The Aeris Profile IP67 consists of a liniLED® PCB LED strip, cable
(incl. cable entry on the desired position), end cap(s) and a cover.
In addition to the luminous intensity, light colour and effect, it’s
possible to finish this beautiful lighting fixture with several features

The stainless steel (AISI 316L) liniLED® Handrail is a
revoluionary LED based handrail system that provides
functional lighting for a safe environment. Due to the
integrated liniLED® Top LED strips (24 V DC), the liniLED®
Handrail has the same light benefits as a LED fixture:
energy efficient with an expected lifetime of more than
50,000 hours. Ideal for long lasting, high-end indoor and
outdoor (IP65) handrail solutions in various sectors, such
as: architecture, infrastructure, construction, health and the
entertainment industry.
Indoor & outdoor
The liniLED® Handrails are available in several shapes:
rectangular, square and round (Ø42.4 mm and Ø48.3 mm).
The maximum unit length of the handrail is 6 metres and
can easily be connected mechanically or by welding. All
handrails can be applied indoor and outdoor. However,
the round 48.3 mm handrail is recommended for outdoor
projects.
Easy installation & continuous line of light
The liniLED® Handrail components are designed for quick
and easy installation and maintenance. All necessary parts
which are required are readily available, such as: cables,
connectors, profiles, brackets, adapters and couplers. Thanks
to the smart design of the profiles, the power cables are fully
integrated in the brackets and adapters. The special liniLED®
Handrail couplers ensure a continuous light line, without
any interruption.
Important!
Consult a professional handrail installer, a licensed architect and/or
structural engineer. Dimensions usually vary from the architectural
plan, thus it is important that actual field dimensions are used. Take
notice of the local rules and guide lines, as they can vary in each
region or country. Therefore, the spacing/height of the post and
wall bracket must also be determined by a (local) licensed
architect or structural engineer. Consult an electrical installer or
lighting designer to obtain the best possible light result.
Step 1: LED strip | Luminous intensity & colour
Step 2: Environment | Indoor or outdoor
The liniLED® Handrail is illuminated with the liniLED® Top LED
strips. These LED strips are available in three luminous intensities
(Deco, Power and High Power) and various colours. Go to page 12
for more information about the liniLED® Top LED strips.
The liniLED® Handrails are available in several shapes: rectangular,
square and round. All handrails can be applied indoor and out-
door. However the 48.3 mm is recommended for outdoor projects.
Step 3: Cover | Clear or frosted
The liniLED® Handrail is standard delivered with a cover. Thanks to
the cover, the liniLED® Top LED strip is protected against violence
and/or damage. Depending on the desired light effect, you can
choose between two types of covers: clear or frosted.
Step 4: Angles | Standard or customised
There are three standard angles for the liniLED® Handrails: 45°,
90° and 120°. Other angles can be customised upon request, for
instance: ADA compliant. (ADA= The Americans with Disabilities
Act).
Step 5: Mounting | Wall or post mounting & infill options
The liniLED® Handrails can be wall mounted or post mounted. All
components are designed for quick installation and maintenance.
In case of post mounting it is possible to install the liniLED®
Handrail with several infill options, e.g. glass, cables, railings, etc.
As each lighting project is unique, all the components of the liniLED® Handrail are profesionally customised. Therefore it is of great
importance to provide a fully dimensioned plan, DWG files and detailed drawings, in addition to the useful basic steps below.

The liniLED® Handrail comes with a cover. Depending on the desired light effect, you can choose between a clear or frosted cover. When
using the clear cover, the light dots of the liniLED® LED strip are visible. In case a more‘diffuse’light effect is desired, the frosted cover is the
right choice. By using the frosted cover, the light dots of the LED strip are‘blurred’. The higher the luminous intensity of the strip, the more
‘diffuse’the light effect will be. Regardless of which cover you choose: the liniLED® LED strips in the handrail are secured.
There are three standard angles for the liniLED® Handrails: 45°, 90° and 120°. Other angles can be customised upon request, for instance:
ADA compliant (ADA = The Americans with Disabilities Act).
The wall bracket is designed for quick and easy installation. As shown on the image below the position of the bracket can easily be
modified. Due to the special design, the wall bracket can move freely in the profile to ensure a continuous light line.
As well as the wall bracket, the position of the adapter can easily be adjusted to ensure a continuous light line. The liniLED® Handrail can
be delivered with several infill options, such as: glass, cables and railings. It is possible to prefabricate the posts. For example: If glass infill is
desired, the posts can be customised with glass clamps. Ask us about the customised options.

liniLED® Vesti
The liniLED® Vesti (IP40) is a dimmable
stainless steel LED based closet rod, designed
to provide functional lighting. The luxurious
‘look & feel’make the liniLED® Vesti ideal for ho-
tels, casino’s, theatres, restaurants and even the
(walk in) closet in your home. The liniLED® Vesti
is available in a square and round shape. Both
models are equipped with a diffuse cover and
a high quality liniLED® luminaire a combination
that creates a beautiful homogenous light
effect. The liniLED® luminaires come in colour
temperatures from 2400K up to 6500K.
To provide an easy, seamless and clean
installation, the liniLED® Vesti is complemented
with concealed mounting brackets.

Proces
The liniLED® Forta consists of three parts: a lighting fixture, mounting profile and dummy. In addition, the assortment provides a
number of tools that can be used to optimise the installation of the product.

Installation process:
(1) Lay the cables on the desired location and place the mounting profile on the surface.
(2) Use the coupler to align the mounting profiles.
(3) Place the dummies on the mounting profiles. Complete the desired flooring.
(4) Remove the dummies by using the remove tool.
(5) Connect the lighting fixture to the connector and place it on the mounting profile.

To support the liniLED® System, a number of
stabilised 24 V DC IP20, IP40 and IP64 power
supplies have been selected. The selection is
complemented with several IP65 and IP67
power supplies and IP66 power boxes.
Calculation
You can select the right power supply by
multiplying the number of metres with the
wattage per metre. The maximum
connection length must not be exceeded. We
advise an extra 10% safety margin to include
in the calculation of the power consumption.
