 Project – American Red Cross Fundraising – Exeter Group
Project Description: DDCOE (Donor Data Center of Expertise) is one of the
core projects as part of American Red Cross’s initiative to revamp the existing
Fundraising systems. DDCOE will provide fundraisers with standard, accurate
and timely donor and gift information that will enhance them with the tools to
increase dollars raised.
DDCOE involves the centralization of back office fundraising data management
functions into one or more centers of expertise. All chapters will use common,
centrally hosted fundraising systems, based on standard data definitions and
usage, and consistent business rules and processes. Critically, the DDCOE will
result in a single donor database which contains all Red Cross donors which is a
precursor to multi-channel marketing optimization and CRM.
Responsibilities:
 Working on requirements gathering, architecting the ETL lifecycle and
creating design specifications and ETL design documents.
 Extracting data from various sources such as Team Approach, Oracle,
Teradata and flat files,
 Cleansing and loading of data into Teradata and Flat file targets using
Informatica and PL/SQL.
 Designing and developing workflows in Informatica and automation
with UNIX shell scripts.
 Architecting and developing Fast Load and MLoad scripts
and developing BTEQ scripts to process migrate data into data
warehouse.
 Using BTEQ and SQL Assistant front-end tools to issue SQL commands
