Nature of work is Financial Reporting in iXBRL profile.
Tagging of Financial Documents of clients in XBRL (Extensible Business reporting Language).
Includes using of softwares like Caseware and Seahorse for Tagging of Accounts.
Work includes tagging the files,making corrections for the same and submitting the files to BDO UK
before the deadline. It is a deadline bound profile and we have to cope with very heavy loads,
mostly between Aug-Dec where there is a heavy inflow of files. Hence, accuracy, speed and team-
work are the most essential elements of the profile.
 Making presentations for new taxonomies, SOP s etc.
 From March 2016, the nature of work also includes Initial Supervisory Review of the files which are
later sent for corrections.
 Expert in Taxonomies of UK GAAP, IFRS , FRS etc.
 Probability of UK onsite rotation in Sep-Dec period for reviewers.
2. Deloitte Touche and Tohmatsu India Pvt Limited – Hyderabad-

Tax Consultant 1 – Financial reporting for US taxation returns.
 Preparing Income tax returns, Extensions for US corporations, Individuals, Trusts, Partnerships etc
Preparing Client specific work-papers for assistance in tax returns preparation
Use of Deloitte specific software for preparation of returns.
 Continuously be updated for new tax laws, tax rates, tax reforms as they keep on changing from
time to time.
 Had to research the knowledge base, internet, download articles etc for efficient and quick
preparation of returns and know the latest tax laws.
Experience in preparation of quarterly and yearly tax estimates for clients and forecasting the
potential income for taxation purposes .
Involved in developing forecasts of client files processed in peak periods and helping come up with
coping mechanisms for high volume forecasts.
Have worked also on FATCA reporting ,which deals with reporting foreign incomes to the US govt.
 Pilot process of FATCA reporting involved setting up the process, assessing the work flow, co-
ordinating and working in tandem with team members in US offices, learning the new government
norms, researching documents in order to make the process more efficient etc. Initial reporting
was done for Cayman islands.
Co-ordinating with teams in US offices while preparing returns.
 Collection of reports for tax filing purposes.
Able to work under high pressure during year end times like March-April and August- September,
work hours would stretch from 9 hours to 14 hours per day.


Cleared CA Foundation exam CPT in December 2009 ; Appeared for Intermediate group 1 in June
