About
Shaun is a Lecturer at the School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of New South Wales. He has a B.E. and Ph.D. in engineering and experience with laser systems as well as the detailed analysis of various combustion systems. His Ph.D. research has primarily focused on the development and the use of advanced laser diagnostic techniques to reacting flows. He is currently focusing on the spray and combustion diagnostics in an optical gasoline engine. Shaun is a member of the UNSW Engine Research Group and works closely with Dr Shawn Kook and A/Prof Evatt Hawkes, who leads the experimental and computational program, respectively.
