Severino Nambuengue Chiwale is an Angolan geophysicist born in 1989 in Viana, Angola. He holds a degree in geophysics from Agostinho Neto University, where he specialized in areas such as seismic acquisition, processing, and interpretation. He has worked for oil companies such as Statoil and currently works as an inertial surveyor for C&C Technologies, preparing equipment and collecting data for marine construction projects. Chiwale also taught applied mathematics geophysics and was a founding member of the Geophysics Club at his university.
