Choosing the right aerosol
Chemicals used in detector test equipment need to be
compatible with the plastics from which the detectors are
manufactured. Not all test aerosols offer this compatibility
which can lead to problems such as stress cracking in
detectors, residue build-up and damage to the detector
and components. Solo aerosols are the most thoroughly
researched solutions – approved by leading detector
manufacturers, third parties and fire engineers.
