1. THE LAW OF ATTRACTION
Submitted By – Sejal Kapoor
In this article, we talk about the detailed analysis of Law of Attraction;
According to the theory of the law of attraction, a person's thoughts and
energies either attract positive or negative experiences into their lives.
According to this theory, happy ideas will produce positive consequences and
negative thoughts will produce bad ones. This is known as the law of attraction.
Although it has not been confirmed by science, it has becoming more common
in self-help and personal development circles.
The roots of the Law of Attraction can be traced back to early philosophical
and religious teachings. Ancient civilizations, including the Greeks and
Egyptians, held beliefs that the mind had the power to shape reality. The Law of
Attraction is strongly related to the New Thought movement, which gained
popularity in the United States in the late 19th century. A spiritual and
philosophical movement called New Thought emphasized the mind's power and
held that one's thoughts might influence their reality.
The Law of Attraction saw a revival in the 20th century, particularly in the
early 2000s, in part due to the concept's popularization in books, seminars, and
the 2006 documentary "The Secret" and book by Rhonda Byrne. "The Secret" in
2006.The book's inspiring message made it a cultural phenomenon and people's
interest in self-improvement and the possibility of transformation.
The Law of Attraction is closely related with economics. The Law of
Attraction tells us that when demand for something rises, we become
vibrationally attuned to it, and so we get more of it. If more and more people
demand prosperity, the economy will respond appropriately. It is useful for
investors for visualizing the future behavior of interest rates and bond prices.
The Law of Attraction is also closely related with Hindu Mythology. In
Mahabharat, the Ancient Hindu epic; Shree Krishna emphasis more on The Law
of Karma which tells that “As we sow, so shall reap” so it is closely related to
Law of Attraction as it also tells that “What we think, is what we become”. As
Law of Attraction is a part of Attraction.
The Law of Attraction is always working, every single second of every day.
Furthermore, it is reacting to how we act, all the time, without regard to whether
we are acting in a positive or negative way. If we believe, and know, that we
deserve good things then we will start acting a certain way. We will set great
goals. We will make plans to meet the exact person we need to meet. Without
2. thinking, we will put ourself in situations that will lead to exactly where we
need to be.
The best way to starting applying the Law of Attraction is through creative
visualization. It is the most powerful tool for manifesting exactly what we want.
Why? Because in the same way as setting a goal, we first decided exactly what
we want in great detail. We can use creative visualization to build that picture in
we mind first. Then begin to act as if we already have it all. We can also use
positive affirmations to back up we intentions to help we act ‘as if’ we have
what we desire. This also overlaps with, and compliments the Law of
Assumption.
The Law of Attraction is criticized for oversimplifying difficult life
situations, lacking actual scientific support, and having a risk of encouraging
victimization. The placebo effect and confirmation bias are cited by sceptics as
potential reasons for any beneficial outcomes attributable to this belief system.
It's crucial to remember that while these real-world applications may be
motivating and beneficial to a person's thinking and motivation, they cannot
always guarantee certain external results. The outcomes of the Law of
Attraction may vary from person to person and may be influenced by a number
of variables, including belief.
I conclude that the Law of Attraction is a set of beliefs based on the notion
that a person's thoughts and energies can either attract positive or negative
situations into their life. It has received considerable skepticism and criticism,
lacks scientific support, and has gained popularity as a self-help and personal
development idea.
This belief system is based on the Law of Attraction's tenets, which include
the power of thought, visualization, affirmations, gratitude, and letting go.
These ideas are put into practice in a number of useful ways to promote a good
outlook, motivation, and personal development.
