As a Cinema Art and Science major, I have sharpened my creative talents while collaborating with peers to
create diverse and authentic films. Postproduction courses have been project-based, hands-on and have focused
on non-linear editing, color correction, audio mixing, compositing, and motion graphics; preparing me for a
career in video editing as well as other postproduction specializations.
PROFESIONAL EXPERIENCE
Facets Multimedia, Chicago, IL January 2017 – May 2017
Media Archivist Assistant
• Managed the Facets blog which included: writing and producing video essays, conducting interviews,
soliciting content, and proposing ways to expand the blog's reach.
• Managed and restructured Facets’ Image & Video Archive which contained over twenty years of marketing
materials as well as photos and videos from events and Facets Academy programs.
• Conceptualized and produced promotional video content for Facets' website and social media. This included
both pre- and postproduction for videos which advertised Facets Summer Film Institute, Facets Kids Film
Camp, Chicago International Children's Film Festival, and other events.

• Assisted in the day-to-day-operations of office tasks and client services.
• Shadowed editors, assistant editors, colorists, and Flame artists on a commercial project through its
postproduction process by attending offline, online, and audio editing sessions.
• Conceptualized and edited a short film that was viewed and critiqued by Whitehouse Post staff.
