simple and fun-loving, including theory, confined water, and practical sessions. Havelock

diving is 12 to 50 years provided you don’t possess any health issues and are medically
fit for diving. Basic to moderate swimming is mandatory depending on enrollment for the
certification levels. You get either an SSI or PADI certificate on successful completion of

course. Basic swimming is required for the course and costs INR 28000 per person

Note: It is mandatory to complete a 200-meter swimming and 300-meter snorkel and float

A person minimum of 12 years of age who completed an open water diver course is
eligible to join any scuba diving speciality course mentioned below. The speciality diving
programs are designed in such a way as to develop the necessary set of skills to dive in
specialized dive conditions.
Deep diving speciality: The diving program specializes in diving deeper into the sea and
discovering rare marine life below 30 meters. The deep diving speciality course includes
3 deep dives up to 40 meters and costs INR 18000 per person excluding tax. Excellent
swimming skills are required for the course and take at least 2 days for the course
completion. Havelock Island offers premium dive sites for deep sea diving in Andaman.
Night diving speciality: The night diving program specializes to dive in limited or zero
visibility environments to witness specific marine life that becomes active during the night.
The course includes 2-night dives up to 12 meters of dive depth and costs INR 14000 per
person excluding tax. A person who completed an open water diver course is eligible for
a night diving speciality program. Basic swimming is required for the program and a
minimum of 2 days is sufficient to complete the course.
Navigation speciality: The navigation speciality program is a set of advanced skills and
knowledge that will be helpful to navigate underwater safely and confidently. During the
course, you will learn natural navigation techniques, basic navigation patterns, compass
use, distance measurement, and much more. The speciality program will teach you how
to combine navigation techniques to improve your diving experience. The course includes
2 open water dives up to 18-30 meters and can be completed within a day. Basic
swimming is necessary for the course and an OWD-certified diver is eligible for the
program. The navigation speciality program costs INR 14000 per person excluding tax.
Perfect Buoyancy Speciality: The Buoyancy Speciality program is helpful to increase
your buoyancy control, move effortlessly beneath the sea surface, and minimize your
breathing air consumption. The course teaches advanced buoyancy skills and techniques
to improve your diving experience and maximize your in-water comfort level. The program
includes 2 open water dives up to 18 meters deep and costs INR 14000 per person
excluding tax. A person who completed the OWD course is eligible for the perfect
buoyancy speciality course.
Wreck Diving Speciality: The wreck diving program requires specific diving skills to
explore the wreckage of sunken ships, aeroplanes, and automobiles. It offers divers
everything to expand their advanced diving skills and teaches them to identify different
aspects of wrecks that are hidden from unprofessional eyes. The course offers 2 open
water dives up to 18 meters deep and can be completed within a day. Basic swimming is
required for the program and costs INR 15000 per person excluding tax. An OWD-
certified diver is eligible for the wreck diving speciality course.
A soft copy of the SSI certification is rendered upon completion of any speciality program.
The Scuba diving license cost is included in the course fees and some extra amount is
payable to SSI only to get a hard copy of the certification.
