This document discusses how video technology has been used to enhance athletic performance in several Olympic sports. It provides case studies of bobsled/skeleton and taekwondo teams that implemented video review processes. For bobsled/skeleton, instant video review between training runs helped coaches identify areas for improvement and contributed to multiple medals won at the 2010 and 2014 Olympics. For taekwondo, the Dartfish video analysis system allowed real-time technique assessment and correction in training and was expanded to include scouting of opponents.
