Currently Dr Sarinder is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Science , University of Malaya. She is the Program Coordinator for Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics program. She is also the Principal Investigator of the Data Science & Bioinformatics Laboratory in UM.
