4. John Keats as a poet
⦿ John Keats was a romanticist poet who wrote odes. An
ode is a type of lyrical stanza. English odes are lyrical
stanzas in the phrase of or dedicated to someone or
something that captures the poet's interest or serves as
an inspiration.
⦿ The odes are Keats’s most distinctive poetic
achievement. They are essentially lyrical meditations on
some object or quality that prompts the poet to confront
the conflicting impulses of his inner being and to reflect
upon his own longings and their relations to the wider
world around him.
⦿ Major work : Ode on a Grecian Urn”,Ode to a
Nightingale , pechye ,Autunm,To Lord Byron” “To
Sleep”, “On Seeing the Elgin Marbles” & Many more
5. Rajiv Patel as poet
⦿ The experiences of personal suffering and death in
the compositions of this poet embodying beautiful
linguistics combined with the combination of rural
agriculture and modern consciousness create playful
ambiguities of senses as well as symbols.
⦿ Major work : Poetry - Angat

⦿ Novel - Ashrughar, Zanza (imagination fiction
biography), Vruti
⦿ Novice - vruti ane varta
⦿ Drama - Rakhpan bole chhe.
7. Imagination
⦿ THE ROLE OF IMAGINATION: J.keats was a belief in the
supreme value of the Imagination that made him a
Romantic poet. The world of his poetry is imaginary,
artificial. He images more than reflect from experience. He
was interested in unfamiliar, strange and remote in place
and time. His ideal world is stimulated by his own
experience of pain and misery. He considered the art
world a perfect world. “Ode on a Grecian Urn” , Ode to a
Nightingale and other .
In it he feels the death, but the song is about to be
married. The tragedy of the mourning death of the
protagonist, thus becoming commonplace, has become
quite specific in describing the expression due to the
poetic imagining of the language.
8. Religion
⦿ “Ode on a Grecian Urn”
“Beauty is truth, truth beauty, —that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.”
⦿ last stanza in the poem
Keats’ message contrast the speaker’s constructed
Westernized Hellenized messages of ecstatic suffering
with the four noble truths of Buddhism which are as
follows: One-The truth of suffering (Dukkha). Two-The
truth of the origin of suffering (Samudāya). Three-The truth
of the cessation of suffering (Nirodha). Four-The truth of
the path to the cessation of suffering (Magga).

poetry and in his writings, it is mentioned in Hindu myths,
practices, the things used in marriage.
9. Nature
⦿ Keats often personifies natural phenomena,
sometimes using classical myth to animate the
objects and forces of nature. Greek divinities (Apollo,
Flora, etc.) and spirits (Naiads, Dryads, etc.)
frequently populate Keats’ depictions of the natural
world and, as in the case of ancient mythology, give
a distinctly human character to natural phenomena.
⦿ Analogous words like flower, bird, mango, tree, etc.,
have shown the usefulness of ordinary people in
social life. In this song, the bird metaphor carries a
different meaning to each stock.
10. Death
⦿ Among his better-known works are ʻOde on a Grecian
Urnʼ and ʻOde to a Nightingaleʼ. Keats suffered a
series of hemorrhages in 1820 and died at the age of
25 from tuberculosis.
After staying in
Amirgadh and Anand for few months, he died in
Ahmedabad on 8 August 1968 due to tuberculosis
and mental disorder. The tragedy of the tragic death
of a depressed hero by writing a virtual death song,
thus the immortal composition of Ravji Patel, which is
realized in a few words, is truly indescribable. And
that makes this song very effective with a nice pricey
tone.
