STATUS: PLANNING
The client wanted a rear and side extension, and since the
bungalow has very high ceiling in the loft, they also wanted
to fit two new rooms with en-suite bathrooms in the loft.

STATUS: ON SITE
This project was a two storey rear extension and interior
design.
The site is situated on a curve so the building is not
aligned with the neighbouring properties. Although this
arrangement meant that the first floor could not be fully
extended, but the final design was very efficient and was
both acceptable by the council and pleasing to the eye.

STATUS: COMPLETE
The client wanted a loft conversion and a modern elevation.
Since the building was already rendered white it stood out
and was more modern compared to neighbouring red brick
buildings. To be more efficient we kept the white render
but replaced the elements with new and modern ones.
To be able to fit a room in the loft the main roof had to
be raised, but we only raised parts of it to have roofs in
different levels, this also helped in giving the elevation a
more contemporary look.

10. Hemmat Office Building is situated on a site near
a motorway next to a massive mixed-use white
building that is under construction; when finished
Hemmat Office Building will be dwarfed by the size
of it. I chose orange- brown tiles for the elevation
to draw the attention of the motorists from the big
white mixed-use building to the office building.

12. This building has two parking levels and a restaurant
underground, two retail floors on the ground and first floor
and five levels of office space.
The concept is a tear through a thick black exterior shell,
leaving white edges and the exposed interior behind the
opaque glass facade at the retail levels.
This massive crack draws the attention and raises the
curiosity of passing pedestrians and cars and it’s also
inviting.

STATUS: UNDER CONSTRUCTION

The site is located in North of Iran in a place called Khaaneh
Darya where there are lots of luxury summer villas. To the
North of the site is the Caspian sea and to the South the
green Alborz mountain.
The client wanted a 4 bedroom summer villa with a modern
look. The client was also looking for a design that looks
different compared to all other villas in that area. Bearing in
mind the two views to the North and South, it was essential
for the client to have glass elevation for those two sides.
Other important materials were exposed concrete and
white stucco.

This building is situated in Gisha which is one of the best
areas of Tehran, so it had to look elegant and luxury. To
gain these two qualities I decided to design the building
in classic style so I used white Travertine stone slabs and
bricks for the main materials in the elevation.
