1. Professional Life
 Starting this summer, I will be
working at Hope Haven in a home
with adults with disabilities. This
class has helped me to understand
that my own biases for this group
were incorrect. It helped me to
understand adults with disabilities
and their capabilities. Each skill
that I learned, I will need to use
every day at work. It has helped
me to become an advocate for
adults with disabilities.
At The Arc of Dunn County I:
 Assisted members with
their art projects
 Assisted members so that
they were able to cook
their own meals
 Participated and assisted
with the exercise program
on Monday afternoons
