The results show that the height, leaves, branches, and fruit yield all increased in all the plants weekly regardless of the
amount of concentration of sethoxydim it was given. The amount of flowers and flower buds on all the plants fluctuated
weekly. There were instances when the number for one of them was high and others weeks when the number was low.
For the weed rating, it initially decreased, but then the rating increased as the weeds began to regrow in all the plants.
The number of leaves that had a change in leaf color also fluctuated in each plant weekly. Approximately, the injury count
on the plant increased every week with each plant. However, the concentration of the herbicide seemed to have not
mattered when it came to which concentration had the most injuries. There were instances where the 1x concentration
plants had more injury than their counterpart 2x concentration plants. There were also some instances where the control
had more injuries than either the plants counterpart 1x and 2x. Weed mass for both the fresh and dry weights all
decreased based on the amount of herbicide it was given so the 2x had the least mass with the exception in replication 1
where there were some plants with 1x that had a less mass than the 2x. The Capsicum annuum's (jalapenos) and
Capsicum chinense's (habaneros) grew on time with the Capsicum annuum growing during week 4 and the Capsicum
chinense growing at week 4 at first but mostly during week 5-6, however the Capsicum frutescens had delayed growth
although 2 plants did start to grow at week 4, the majority started to grow from week 6-8 and some of them did not even
grow more specifically 3 of the 2x did not even grow fruit and only 1 of the 1x did not grow.
