Hi everyone, I’m XXX and I am a student ambassador for City Internships, a leading experiential education provider. City Internships runs global internship programs in London, Los Angeles and New York. The programs include an eight-week placement, weekly career seminars, resume workshops, professional networking events and an active social calendar.
What’s in it for you? You can expect to achieve real-world experience, broadened horizons, a strong professional network, an improved skillset and career readiness.
The first two weeks are about settling into your internship, making connections and importantly, friends. City Internships organizes a welcome orientation, socials and then takes everyone away for the weekend on a team-building trip.
Approaching the middle period of the global internship program, the City Internships team is there to help you make the most of your placement. Your internship is designed to help you gain an insight behind the scenes of a new industry and the City Internships will see you at weekly business psychology and insight panel events.
Now that you’re a familiar face at your host company, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into a project and find solutions to real-world problems.
As the program nears its end, you begin to focus on life after your internship. Many receive job offers and with others the City Internships team will teach you how to market your profile and put it in front of any employer out there. And then we all celebrate with a party!
The Global Internship Program includes an eight week internship, weekly careers seminars, social events, local mentorship and optional accommodation in your host city.
Placements are available in banking and financial services, art, fashion and design, marketing, advertising and PR, consulting and professional services, entertainment, media and journalism, law and politics and lastly, technology and engineering.
