4. What does AZGEO offer?
▪Geospatial data sharing platform for Arizona
▪Original datasets and geospatial services
▪Customizable security, enhanced access control
▪Search and discovery for your data and services
▪Analytics & statistics to increase ROI on your data
▪Subscription & notification services for when data is altered or
updated
▪Enhanced geospatial upload and metadata tools
▪Scalable and redundant servers and backups
5. Enhanced Access Control
▪Data contributors can choose to share their data with their
internal staff, external agencies, or (optionally) with the public
▪Security user-groups are customizable
▪Designated group administrators are responsible for approving
users
▪Can be highly secure and private; “invite only” restricted
▪Can be “joinable” so that the group administrator does not have
to manually add in their members
6. FME Applications in AZGEO
▪E911 – Aggregate address data for Public
Safety Answering Points (PSAP).
▪Incorporate disparate road centerlines into a
statewide Linear Referencing System (LRS).

8. Extract App With FME
Problem – ESRI Clip ‘n Ship Service is too “High
Strung” Difficult to maintain and apply.
Solution – FME. We use FME to allow clip of datasets
for downloads. The datasets are stored in an SDE.
The downloads allow flexibility for file type and
projections. KML’s may be immediately displayed in
our Map Service.
Implementation - Work with a Certified FME
Professional.
