2. Pullmantur was founded in 1971 in Madrid, Spain, as a tour operator with bus tours throughout Spain
and Europe. In the late 1990s, Pullmantur joined the cruise industry, which was thought to be in
Spain an expensive and elitist leisure activity. In November 2006, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines
purchased Pullmantur cruises.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1) Ensure the full Safety to the passengers according to the Safety Company Policy.
2) Provide the service to the passengers twice a day as per Company Standard (Morning and turn
down)
3) Responsible for presenting himself to his passengers upon embarkation day.
4) Reports any difficulties to the Chief Housekeeper (For example: Safety Problems, Passenger
Attitude, Passenger Complaints, Emergency Maintenance, Etc.)
5) Brings the passengers luggage from the lift to the passengers cabins (outside) and ensures the
passenger get all his luggage.
6) Clean the Passenger’s Corridors, lockers and ice pantries as per Company Standard.
7) Reports daily any maintenance problems and follows them up.
8) Ensures the passengers laundry service as per Company Procedure.
9) Sanitize and apply Environmental Procedures to the Cabins assigned to him/her.
10) Uses and clean only with the company material and equipment according to the Manufacturer
and/or the Company Instructions.
11) Uses only the Chemicals and Material approved by the Company.
