Executing Operational Efficiency
* Out-of-Service Time (OOS) are those days when a rig is out of service and is not able to earn revenue. The Company may be compensated for certain out-of-service days, such as
for shipyard stays or for rig transit periods preceding a contract; however, recognition of any such compensation is deferred and recognized over the period of drilling operations.
Rowan is focused on maintaining low levels of operational downtime and out-of-service time to
drive higher earnings and improve margins
