-Students were taught how to flutter kick, the use of their arms in a variety of strokes, proper breathing and safety in the pool area
-Play-Teach-Play teaching style, giving instruction 30 seconds at a time then allowing students to try the task.
-Differentiate instruction to ability levels, providing intra-task variation to students
-In the gymnasium, gave students activities which taught fundamentals such as spatial awareness and variety of locomotor skills

-Jim Thorpe Area High School. Worked with students through a 6 week unit on Pilates then started a unit on Total Body Fitness.
-Gave students Specific Congruent Feedback to enhance their ability to do the skills properly to gain most benefit from the exercises
-Created a motivational environment by keeping a positive attitude and lots of upbeat music!!
-Inspire students to find an activity that they enjoy that will keep them physically active for a lifetime

-Set up stations to display what it would feel like if students were intoxicated, and gave students a feel for how many accidents/problems
would result. This gave students a “real-life” application for what alcohol brings into a student’s life
