Eligibility
Before applying to renew your award, verify your eligibility at www.mcsf.org/eligibility.
Application
You must complete and submit a renewal application with all required documentation by the deadline on March 3,
2015. Submitting a renewal application doesn’t guarantee you a scholarship award.
You’re not guaranteed a scholarship award if you were previously awarded, or if your sibling was previously
awarded. You may be required to provide information and/or documents that differ from your previous application or
your sibling’s application.
Notification
If you submit a renewal application, you’ll be notified of our award decision by email in May. Students with
incomplete renewal applications will not be notified.
Make sure you provide us with a working email address that you check regularly. We may contact you via email in
March or April if we have questions about your renewal application.
Emails are sent in bulk and have a tendency to get caught in SPAM. Add scholarship@mcsf.org and no-
reply@scholarshipamerica.org to your contacts and address book, and check your email daily throughout the
entire renewal process! It’s your responsibility to check your email and be responsive.
Post-Award Steps
If you’re awarded, you’re required to complete a series of post-award steps before your scholarship is paid. Failure
to complete these post-award steps will result in a non-payment of your scholarship.
Payment of Scholarships
If you’re awarded, we'll mail the scholarship directly to your school after you've completed your post-award steps
and we've verified your school’s accreditation.
