2. Parker Ballard, CEO and Artist of PJB Customs customized shoes from all over the world
where clients send him their new/used shoes, and request him to put a theme on the shoe.
The clients allow parker to execute their vision and in return receive a work of art that is
like no other shoe out there.
3. This specific project was a personal project for parker as they were going to be made for
his little sisters senior night soccer game at Lehi High School.
These Nike Hypervenom shoes have been used through his sisters season and gone
through the wear and tear of weekly games. For parker not only was he going to have to
customize these shoes, but prepare them and make them look almost like new before
starting to customize them. As you can see in the image above, parker was able to restore
the shoes to their former glory and they were now ready to customize.
4. Before cutting to the action and customizing the Nike Hypervenom Parker had to invision
the shoes and think of how he was going to customize these shoes and what theme he
wanted to follow. After consulting with his client, his sister, he then came up with the them
of “Graffiti”. He wanted to make sure the shoes clearly displayed that this Lehi soccer
Player Bleed purple and make it so that it was bright enough for all the other players and
fans to see. With the graffiti look parker wanted the art to look as if it were painted by a
spray paint artist to make the shoes look like it was authentic graffiti. It was now time to
execute.
5. As Parker graffitied the art of “Lehi” on the shoes
he wanted to make them specific to his sister for
her big game night. He marked the number of all
the goals she has made throughout her high school
career to give them sentimental value and
importance.
6. On the back of the shoe was added her initials and official
number to match her for the senior night game. These shoes
took about a week to clean, design and execute before game
night. The final product was given to the client just in time
and we can say a good review was given.
Once, the shoes were produced and the customs shoes were
finished. Parker then has the photographers do a photo
shoot for the custom shoes in the environment that best fits
them and matched for what they are for. Once the
photographer delivers the photos, they are then posted to all
social media platforms for PJBCustoms to show to design
and parkers work.
