HELP!
I NEED A DOCTOR!
This is a call that is heard around the world
particularly in remote areas and slums.
MHealth4Africa (MH4A) is doing something
about it in Cameroon, Africa. MH4A is a
mobile wireless health care system that
utilizes state-of-the-art cellular phones and
equipment to virtually bring the urban
doctor to underserved remote and urban
areas.
The sophisticated data-gathering
capability of the system provides the data
that is needed to better serve the local
patients and enable health agencies to
conduct vital analysis and research.
MH4A is designed to be financially viable
for a privately-owned business, while
providing low-cost health care services to
the largest number of patients.
