This document discusses issues found with the design of fiber to the home (FTTH) networks in Bermuda. It notes inconsistencies between address point files and drop designs within sample fiber distribution territories (FDTs), with some address points missing drops and some drops designed without corresponding address points. The boundaries of the FDTs are also analyzed, finding that they were not distributed efficiently throughout neighborhoods and some extended into the ocean. Fiber access terminals (FATs) within the FDTs are noted to be centered rather than spread out.
