Squeezebox Touch Touch replacement for Classic. Used similar HW platform as
Radio. Was main contact with China manufacturing for
resolution of issues, worked with Synaptics to develop touch
sensor, wrote all required documentation, and worked with the
SW/HW team to develop development schedules. Product won
2 awards at CES 2011.
Squeezebox Radio Smaller variation of Squeezebox Boom on new Freescale HW
platform. Managed team of people responsible for budgeting,
trial runs, coordination with Asian manufacturing, while I
managed higher level scheduling, and interfacing to outside
design house. I wrote all required product engineering
documentation and test procedures.

development by working with ID/ME designer, EE, and ODM
to develop small IR remote control. Responsible for all product
and manufacturing specs. Had group of direct reports that
were responsible for creation of BOMs, local trial runs, and
tracking of commodities parts.
Squeezebox Duet
(includes controller
and receiver)
Whole house Wifi music controller and separate receiver. Took
over the management of the ODM developing the controller EE
and helped to gain closure of the final design which had been
changing for over 6 months. Coordinated product compliance
of both products. Managed trail runs and production by ODM
and Logitech manufacturing. Was responsible for closing
accounts with the ODM after development was completed.
Won Best of CES award 2008
Squeezebox Classic Original Slim Devices product for the Audiophile. I was solely
responsible for bringing the product into China production,
resolving parts and production issues and working with
external CM to support the transition.
Webcam products Senior Program Manager
Responsibility included initial concept development through
production in Asian manufacturing. Worked with EE, ME,
product marketing, and packaging groups to develop and
complete products.

Webcam software release. Took over this release and
managed through Agile techniques the completion of the SW,
resolution of existing bugs, then release shipment.
Ultra Vision Ultra Vision, was a new industrial design with new ID/ME and
lens which I managed from start of design though to China
production. Problems were found with outer doubleshot design
of the case requiring me to stay in China about 3 weeks to
support problem resolution. I visited the molder several times
to discuss issues and resolutions with them.
Fusion Family of 4 products with new ASIC, lenses, ID/ME, and EE.
Managed 3 of the 4 of these products from initial development
through to production. The 4th product was managed in
Taiwan.. All products were shipped on-time despite problems
with the ASIC, which required several silicon spins. I was
involved with interfacing with the ASIC vendor during the
debugging of the problems through to 1st part review and
production. Overall product costs were within 1% of original
estimate despite multiple changes.
Orbit Took over product after it had just started production at CM
(contract manufacturer) in Mexico. Production had problems
and I was responsible for resolving these problems and getting

production running. Eventually, I moved this product to China
production. Later, I managed 2 other versions of the product
with new gearbox, ASIC, and lens. For all versions of the
product, I worked directly with the Asia gearbox vendor to
solve their problems.

A and B
ODM project that was in the early trial run stage. I took
project over and was responsible for ensuring that the product
was manufacturable, Worked with FW groups at corporate to
finalize FW requirements and tests for production.

Evangelized Thin Client concept. Took ownership of all
external software licensing, vendor selection, and
relationship management.
WT 8000 Program Manager of original product. Responsible for
implementing MS NTE on existing hardware platform.
Worked with several customers to create custom versions of
product.
WT 3000 Program Manager of original product. Led development of
MS Windows CE, BIOS, and application integration. Worked
with Microsoft to define Windows Based Terminal standard.
WT 2000 Led software development of DOS-like OS, Flash filesystem,

Apple Worked with Thunderbolt team to ensure that Avid HD Mobile
product would pass Thunderbolt certifications
Sunplus, Taiwan Sunplus developed ASIC for Fusion family. I worked with them
to resolve ASIC issues and supply.
Freescale, USA CPU vendor used on new Squeezebox platform. I was a main
contact to the Freescale team and was involved with resolution
of several issues that required cross-global participation.
Synaptics, USA Touch sensor vendor for SB Touch. Main contact with them to
develop the touch sensor and resolve manufacturing issues as
they arose.
Microsoft, USA Acted as main interface during development of Thin-Clients.
Flew to Microsoft over 20 time to discuss issues and influence
