1. OAM DR / BCP Setup with below details
1) 1 DR DB Machine which will sync with primary DB server using Oracle Data Guard.
2) 1 machine for OAM / OID / OHS / Web Gate / Access Gate.
Steps which has bene followed for this DR setup was –
1) Check account access on DB & OAM machine.
2) Check OAM RCU details from DB machine.
3) OAM Installation
4) OID Installation
5) OHS Installation & Configuration.
6) Web Gate / Access Installation & Configuration for different applications.
7) Make entry in /etc/hosts of two (Primary & DR DE) machine
8) From App on primary to DB should go to DB machine on primary - control this via
/etc/hosts
9) From App on DR to DB should go to DB machine on DR - control this via /etc/hosts
in //etc/hosts of DR include IP and hostnames pointing to primary and secondary
both
10) Copy Middleware Home , Domain Home and Instances folder from primary to DR
11) To test
o Open DR Database in primary mode
o Start OID on DR
o Start OAM on DR
o Start OHS on DR
Test everything
Note :: DB during configure should be in Read only and at time of testing you open DB in
Read Write Mode , once testing is over configure DB back in data guard.
